Photo Contest: Peace in Young People's Eyes

CEIPES (Centro Internazionale per la Promozione dell'Educazione e lo Sviluppo) is launching a photo contest on the framework of the International Day of Peace, that is 21st September. The contest is organized within the framework of the project "Learning by seeing, seeing by doing"

"Learning by seeing, seeing by doing" is a training and networking activity of the Youth in Action programme, in the form of a job-shadowing exchange and advocacy project.

The main aim of the photo contest is to creates a space where young people can freely and creatively expresstheir ideas and opinions about peace.

Posted photographs will be exhibited in an exhibition entitle "Peace in Young People's Eyes" the 21st September 2011 (and for one week), in Palermo, Italy. If you are interested to participate please see the accompanying discussion for the regulations.

If you are interested to participate please read carefully the regulation below:

1.      The photo contest is open to all young people aged 13 to 30 years who want to give the own view on the topic of peace.

2.       Photographs should respect the following criteria (evaluation criteria):

-     Originality

-     Creativity

-     Relevance to the topic

-     Artistic quality

3.       Photographs should be identified with the following data: name and surname, place and country where the photo was taken, date of birth, email contact and should arrive until the 9th of September 2011.

4.       Each photo should have a caption of maximum 100 words, explaining the main idea about the photography.

5.       Each participant can only submit one to three black and white and / or color photographs about the main topic, that is peace.. . ...more.
