The Women of Mali Engage for Peace
Composed of members of the city network and
leaders of Malian civil society organizations with
similar objectives, the caravan traveled through
ten neighborhoods. It stopped in markets and
public squares with messages of peace, non-
violence and social cohesion in communities. The
messages conveyed insisted that the protection of
national sovereignty, territorial integrity and
unity of the country must be carried out in peace.
